From Inside to Out – Maternity and Newborn Photographer

This sweet couple contacted me in the summer to book their maternity session for September.  They knew that they wanted an outdoor session, and Deer Lake Park was the perfect choice with the variety of backdrops within easy walking distance.  We had a great time strolling down the paths, and along the boardwalk, and I could tell that this couple were made for each other.  They always had smiles on their faces.

She is just so stunning.

And then, at the start of November, exactly on her due date, little Mister N decided to show up.  Full of a dark head of hair, 10 fingers, 10 toes and the perfect little mouth, baby N was a dream to photograph.  He slept the entire time, and saved all his pee for after the session.

What a cutie.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby Boy makes 4! – Coquitlam Newborn Photography

I had the pleasure of meeting the Chase family a couple of years ago when their second daughter was born, so I was very excited to get the call that the second son was welcomed into the family.  This family is so full of love, and each of the kids have such unique, strong characters.  Little Mr. C was no exception, wanting to be awake for a lot of his session, in case he missed some of the action.  We did manage to cuddle him into a deep sleep, though, and he was a dream to shoot.

Oldest son, another Mr. C, was so in love with his new brother that he wanted some solo shots with his new sibling, and I could tell from his cuddles and snuggles, that the newest son is going to have a friend for life.

Enjoy your teasers!

Sneak Peek for a lovely little redhead – Vancouver Newborn Photography

This little girl came to my studio today, and she rocked it.  Only 10 days new, and already such a beauty.  She’s got red hair like her momma, and now it’s a waiting game to see if she gets dad’s grey/blue eyes.

Here is a little sneak peek of Miss A.

Baby A

7 months and already so handsome! – Coquitlam Family Photographer

Another Baby’s First Year candidate, and Mr. A was a superstar! He had so many great outfits to wear (but also loved baring it all). Seeing him now, I wouldn’t have believed that he was a preemie to start… he’s all boy-chunk these days!  I can’t wait to see him when he turns one, to capture his emerging character.

Still so new and fresh! This little girl was such a star for our session, and her big brother was just so proud.  Such a happy little family!

Twins – Double the fun – Coquitlam Newborn Photographer

Oh my gosh… these two little guys were amazing for our session!  They definitely enjoyed snuggling with each other, and we got some great shots capturing those brotherly moments.  I must admit that after editing these two little guys I had a hard time telling who was who! I hope mom and dad have more luck than me! Enjoy your sneak peek!

A King is born – Coquitlam Newborn Photographer

A big welcome to little Mister K and congratulations the H family.  Their little boy came early into the world, taking his time making his entrance, but it was well worth the effort.

I had a hard time choosing just a few to share, as this gorgeous family is super photogenic.  Enjoy your teaser;

Another beautiful girl – Coquitlam Newborn Photography

Two amazingly cute girls came to visit me in the studio last week.  Big sister T was so ready to show off her new baby sister and was quite the helper.  It was fabulous to meet the B family and I have a feeling that mom was ready to meet her little one sooner rather than later with this heat we’ve been having.  I think that this is the first time this year that I haven’t had to crank the heat in my studio for a newborn session!

Enjoy your newly expanded family!

Made with Love – Coquiltam/ 150 Mile House Newborn Photographer

This little guy is going to have some big shoes to fill (or should I say boots?)  His parents are both firefighters, and have a passion for the job.  It was so great to incorporate some of the gear into our session, and dad even got into his pants for a few shots.

Little Baby G has now gone back to 150 Mile House near Williams Lake after his early arrival in Vancouver.  Lucky for Mom she came down to the Lower Mainland a little early, as Baby G didn’t want to wait any longer.

Enjoy your teasers!

Dainty Little Miss C – Coquitlam Newborn Photography

Little Miss C was a star for our session.  She was a dream to pose, and didn’t mind when I wrapped her in all sorts of fabrics.  And that hair… oh my gosh.  I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a newborn with frosted tips before, but she came out of the womb with style!
